The Torture Locusts Of Jesus

The torture locust is an extremely dramatic character in Christian iconography.

Why don’t Christians display it more often?

It isn’t because the torture locust is gruesome. Yes, the torture locust of the Second Coming Of Jesus is certainly quite gruesome, but Christians have never been reluctant to share gruesome imagery.

They put the crucifixion of Jesus on central visual display, to the point of making the torture device of the crucifix the primary symbol of Christian religion.

Christians are also perfectly happy to display images of the severed head of John the Baptist. What’s more, Christians like to display pictures of the chest of Jesus ripped open, with the heart of their messiah still beating, with the guts showing and everything.

So why don’t Christians display the torture locust of Jesus more often?

Asking awkward questions is what the Demonic Bible is all about. So, we’re not afraid to ask why Christians created a flamboyantly bizarre monster, put it in their Holy Bible, and then act as if it doesn’t exist?

You won’t see the torture locust in any church’s stained glass window.

It certainly isn’t because the torture locust is boring.

The torture locust Abandon from the Christian New Testament, representing the violent wrath of Jesus

The Bible’s torture locust has:

  • the stinging tail of a scorpion

  • a man’s face

  • a woman’s hair

  • a golden crown

  • the teeth of a lion

  • iron armor

The torture locust is highly dramatic, but Christians avoid displaying the torture locust because it is a symbol of the cruelty of Jesus.

It’s a monster that represents how the character of Jesus changed dramatically after the crucifixion. When Jesus rose from the grave, he did so as an angry, vengeful spirit dedicated to gaining power in order to punish every person who stands in his way.

What’s most shameful about the decision by Jesus to torment non-Christians with torture locusts is that it’s completely out of proportion with the suffering he endured. Christians like to talk about the suffering of Jesus on the cross, but that suffering was brief compared to the agony that Jesus plans to inflict on his own enemies.

Jesus was only on the cross for six hours.

The Bible says that Jesus will torment his enemies with torture locusts for FIVE STRAIGHT MONTHS of unending agony.

What’s more, the Christian Bible promises that the torture locusts set loose by Jesus will torture not just one person, but all the non-Christians in the world. That’s billions of people.

Making it even worse, the torture locust is just one form of torture that will be inflicted by Jesus and his angels, according to the Book of Revelation. Other forms of torture by Jesus include burning in a lake of fire for all eternity.

So, while Jesus suffered for only six hours, Jesus will inflict unending suffering on others.

The torture locust represents the completely lopsided cosmic injustice in which the Christian god gets to inflict infinite, unending pain in response to six hours of suffering by just one person, the supposedly divine Jesus.

What’s more, the torture locust will torment people who had absolutely nothing to do with the crucifixion of Jesus. So, it isn’t even really revenge. It’s nothing more than pure sadism.

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus does not turn the other cheek. He rips out all the cheeks of all the people who refuse to obey him.

The torture locust shows that Christianity is not a religion of peace and love. The torture locust shows that Christianity is a religion of violence and fear. The torture locust reveals the hypocrisy of Christianity, a religion centered around the worship of cruelty.

Christians don’t want to confront this part of their religion, which is why they don’t display images of the torture locust. This article goes against this taboo of Christianity, which involves the prominent threat of the torture locust, even as the torture locust is never shown along with Jesus.

The torture locust is clearly associated with Jesus, of course. The release of swarms of torture locusts takes place as one of the seven seals that is broken to bring about the Kingdom of Heaven, with Jesus installed as its divine dictator. The Book of Revelation shows Jesus as present and approving as non-Christians are persecuted, tortured, and killed. Jesus doesn’t lift a finger to stop the violence, because the violence is what he wants. Jesus joins in the violence himself, smashing non-Christians with a rod of iron.

This article displays images of the torture locusts of Jesus because the violent revenge prophecies of the Book of Revelation are much more than just a theoretical hypocrisy. The righteous religious violence of Christianity’s New Testament provides the ideological foundation of the extremist Christian Nationalism that has brought Donald Trump and his fascist followers to power.

Often, critics of Donald Trump wonder how Trump’s Christian supporters can go against the “teachings of Christ”, but they themselves refuse to consider the full arc of the teachings of Christ. The torture locust of Chapter 9 of the Book of Revelation is one of the final teachings of Jesus, in which Jesus teaches his enemies that they will suffer with pain as punishment for the crime of refusing to worship him.

In this final bloody teaching of Jesus, the Bible instructs its followers that promises are made to be broken, and that any law can be violated by the powerful. Jesus says “love your neighbor”, and then he tortures and kills his neighbors. Thus, Jesus teaches us that rules are for other people.

That’s what Donald Trump is all about.

So, from here on in, this article is going to display image after image of the Christian Bible’s torture locusts. Christians don’t want to display torture locusts because they’re ashamed of the violence of their religion.

Well tough. We aren’t going along with the taboo. Below are more images of the torture locust of Jesus.
